Alexandra Cook won the Endurance Life Gower Ultra Marathon (35 miles) in 5hrs 43m27s, a time which placed her 4th overall in the mixed event.

Ilona Kraiuzaite finished 12th in the Perival 5 miles in 37m 37s.
Junior parkrun Weekly Roundup - 27/11/16
At Wimbledon Park, Ellen Weir finished 2nd in 07:56, Ruper Ferguson finished 3rd in 08:31 and Seb Cockerell finished 4th in 08:33. At Surbiton, Lucy Molden finished 54th in 12:30.
Match vs Kingston & Polytechnic Harriers, Sheen Cross - 27/11/16
Gordon Pearce topped the podium in a fine 37m 33s and, well supported by Anthony Doolittle in 6th and Brian Thursby-Pelham in 7th, led Thames to a fine win in the team race. This brings Alex Mackula’s record as 2nd Team Captain for the season to 2 wins and a 2nd place – outstanding form and much better than your Club Captain.

Oxford-Cambridge Cross-Country Races 2016 - 21/11/16
The teams for the 126th Gentlemen’s and 41st Ladies’ University Cross-Country Races have been announced.
Gosport Half-Marathon - 20/11/16
James McMullan and Alex Mackula contested the Gosport Half Marathon. In a wet and windy race, James finished a fine 2nd in 1hr 11m 04s. Alex finished a solid 110th in 1hr 26m 42s after what can only be described as a Steve Jones Blackfriars bridge moment mid-race.

At Wimbledon Park, Seb Cockerell won in 8:55. At Surbiton, Lucy Molden finished 29th in 12:27.
London Cross-Country Championships< Parliament Hill - 19/11/16
The men’s team replicated their result of 2015 finishing 4th. Richard Kowenicki was our top-placed finisher in 12th with Gordon Pearce (26th), Martin Shore (28th) and Simon Wurr (49th) supporting well. Ed Catmur (153rd) also braved the course. In the ladies Katy Hedgethorne had a fantastic run to finish 6th. Vikki Filsell (77th) and Jess Davis (145th) closed the Thames contingent.

At Wimbledon Park, Seb Cockerell finished 5th in 8:46. At Surbiton, Lucy Molden finished 69th in 12:59.
Surrey League (men) Division 1, Round II, Coulsdon - 12/11/16
The second leg of the men’s Surrey League took place at Farthing Down. Thames put in a solid performance to finish 5th team and to further strengthen our Div 1 status. James McMullan led the team hom in a fine 6th in 29m13s and James Chettle opened his season in an excellent 16th and 2nd Thames man home. Gordon Pearce (23rd), Martin Shore (27th), Jim Allchin (32nd) and Simon Wurr (35th) provided strong, middle-order packing to keep us in the mix and Toby Pearson (52nd), Brian Thursby-Pelham (74th), Anthony Doolittle (85th) and Richard Hewitt (86th) closed out the team in style. Alex Mackula and Henry Jones complete the Thames contingent.
British & Irish Masters International, Glasgow - 12/11/16
Four Thames members contested the Home International in Glasgow. In the MV40, Howard Bristow running for England led from start to finish to win by 26s in 24m 08s, almost winning the MV35 race to boot leading both fields for 3 of the 4 laps. In the V45s, Don Naylor representing Wales took gold by 6s in 24m 49s. In the MV50 Ben Reynolds representing England had a close tussle throughout the race with the eventual winner Paul Ward, finishing 2nd by 5s in 25m 07s. The team took gold. In the WV60 and battling lack of sleep, Anna Garnier finished 6th and 3rd England scorer as the team took a fine silver.

At Wimbledon Park, Ellen Weir finished 2nd in 8:02, Sebastian Cockerell finished 6th in 8:37 and Rupert Ferguson finished 9th in 9:00. At Surbiton, Lucy Molden finished 55th in 12:22.
Bank of England Match, Richmond Park - 5/11/16
Alex Mackula rallied a strong team of 17 runners for the Bank Of England Match on 5th November. On a dry and clear autumnal day, sound packing from Thames led to victory in the 4, 6 and 16 to score matches. At the sharp end Jim Allchin led Thames home in 2nd in 25m 53s followed by your Captain in 3rd making his come-back from injury in 26m 14s. Brian Thursby-Pelham was 3rd Thames man home in 4th in 27m 50s. Liz Stavreski was 2nd lady home and 22nd overall in 31m 42s.
