We have hosted the gentlemen’s race every year (barring the war years) since 1896 and the ladies’ race since its establishment in 1976. By tradition, these races are always held on the first Saturday of December and are fiercely fought and of a very high quality.

Alumni Race

This is a long standing race hosted by Thames for the alumni of schools with strong cross country running traditions. It started in 1953 and has grown in popularity, now attracting around 300 runners. Normally held in December.
