The 30th Parkland Relays took place on Wednesday 4th June in Richmond Park. In the men’s competition, Thames took took the team honours from Ful on Tri and Wimbledon Windmilers. The first veteran team home was Ranelagh Harriers. Fastest time of the day (14:16) was recorded on leg 1 by Thames’ former club captain, James Hoad.
In the women’s competition, it was also a victory for Thames, this time narrowly from Hercules Wimbeldon’s A team. Hercules’ B team was in third. In the veteran competition, the honours went to another Thames team, this time Thames Turbo Triathlon. The fastest time of the day was recorded by Ruby Carter from Hercules in 15:56, 14 seconds outside the course record set in 2015.
