Wimbledon Common Clubhouse

Wednesdays @ 7pm – Meet at the clubhouse at 7pm, run around Wimbledon Common from 7.30pm and afterwards head to the Green Man pub or enjoy a clubhouse curry the first Wednesday of every month. Runs tend to last between five and ten miles. Showers and changing in the Clubhouse. Organised via a Whatsapp Group, message Mike Farmery to be added to the group.

Second Sunday of the month @ 10am – The Second Sunday 5 miler takes place from the Clubhouse every second Sunday of the month and is free to club members. Entries can be made on the day or through the race website at www.secondsunday5.com or data.opentrack.run. The route follows a lovely 5 mile course around Wimbledon Common. Spikes or trail shoes are advised for the wettest depths of winter. The Club provides tea, muffins and camaraderie at the Clubhouse afterwards.


Battersea Park

Tuesdays @ 7pm – Interval sessions in Battersea Park, ran on the road loop and occasionally on the grass pitches in the summer. The sessions are structured to align with the cross country season in the autumn/winter progressing into road racing in the spring/summer. The group abilities range from 15-22 minute in the 5k and includes non-members who are wanting to improve their fitness or are looking to get involved with the club activities. The group meets outside the front of Battersea Park Millennium Arena just before 7pm for a brief warm-up before starting the session.
